Rookie Camp

What is Rookie Camp?

  • Rookie Camp is for campers enrolling in Kindergarten through 4th grade in Fall 2008.
  • Rookies are placed in groups aligned to their grade level and are led by both a male and female counselor throughout the day.
  • Rookie campers participate in 3 activities in the morning and 4 activities in the afternoon.
  • Rookie activities may include: baseball, basketball, bowling, dance/cheer, over the line, swimming (Full day & PM campers only), tennis, soccer, etc.
What is Free Agent Camp?

  • Free Agent Camp is for campers enrolling in 5th through 8th grade in Fall 2008.
  • Free Agents choose from the 5 activities offered each period based on their preference.
  • Similar to "middle school", Free Agents will attend a different activity, with different instructors, and different groups of campers for each period.
  • The TYSC Team will try to assign each camper to their top few picks, but class selection is not guaranteed.
  • Changes to schedules must be made the first day of their session and will be confirmed or denied on the following day.
  • Free Agent Camp activities may include: baseball, basketball, bowling, dance/cheer, over the line, swimming (Full day & PM campers only), tennis, soccer, etc.
  • Activities for Free Agents to choose from include:
    • Basketball
    • Baseball
    • Billiards
    • Bowling
    • Dance/Cheer
    • Flag Football
    • Open Swim
    • Over The Line
    • Soccer
    • Table Tennis
    • Team Building
    • Ultimate Frisbee
    • Volleyball
    • Whiffleball

AM camp
(9am to 1pm)
AM snack & lunch provided
Various activities planned throughout the day
$115 per child/per session

PM Camp
(1pm - 5pm)
PM snack provided
Swimming & various other activities planned throughout the day
$115 per child/per session
