The Associated Students, CSUF, Inc. (ASI) is the recognized student government at Cal State Fullerton that provides a variety of programs and services to benefit students. At the heart of the ASI service philosophy is students serving students. Students are our front-line employees for many of our departments and they are integral to the success of the ASI. We believe that it is important to take time out each year to prepare and equip our student employees with knowledge, skills and abilities that will help them be successful in their work here with the ASI.

The aim of this Employee Development Conference is two-fold: first to orient new student staff members to the ASI and second to build and enhance the skill level of all of our student employees. We have designed a day, which focuses on building skills, increasing awareness and developing team.

Employment at ASI provides more than just an on-campus job. We believe that involvement in the ASI can enhance the educational experience of Cal State Fullerton students. The ASI has identified seven key involvement outcomes which cover the range of knowledge, experience and abilities a student employed by the ASI will gain.
