The ASI Executive Officers represent students' needs and interests to the Cal State Fullerton administration, faculty & staff, and campus community. They manage the day-to-day proceedings of student programs and initiate projects that benefit students.
Your elected leaders - the ASI Board of Directors, ASI President, and ASI Executive Vice President - exist to ensure that YOU - the student - has a voice in matters related to your academic college, ASI, and the University.

Yanitza is a senior studying biological sciences with a concentration in cellular and molecular biology. She has been actively involved at CSUF since her freshman year. She was an orientation leader for a summer and a campus tour guide for two years. She served as the Lead Resident Advisor at an off-campus apartment complex, and joined various clubs and organizations including the lacrosse team, biology club, Flying Samaritans and Sigma Kappa sorority. Within ASI, her primary involvement has been with the Titan Student Centers Governing Board, where she served as a student-at-large and as the Vice Chair for Services. Her interactions with students on and off campus is what motivated her to pursue the presidency. As a Latina woman in STEM, she wanted to set an example and motivate others to get involved and make the most of their Titan Experience. She is expected to graduate in Spring 2017 and hopes to pursue a career in the medical field. Her favorite quote is a Spanish phrase, "todo pasa."

Alexandra is a double major in American Studies and Communications with a minor in Human Communication. She has been involved on campus with numerous clubs, organizations, and offices since her freshman year. First being a part of the women’s club rugby team, the intercollegiate debate team, and Camp Titan, ASI’s philanthropy. She got a job on campus through the office of New Student Programs and Campus Tours where she was a Titan Ambassador and Information Specialist. Within ASI, she was the event coordinator and administrative director of Titan Tusk Force which is a programming board that strives to promote Titan Pride. Having had such a great Titan Experience, she wants others to see all the opportunities offered at this great institution and that is ultimately why she ran for Executive Vice President. She will be graduating in the Spring of 2017 and hopes to work in the entertainment industry with a production company to host large scale events. Eventually, she’d like to be a 3rd grade teacher.

Manminder “Sunny” Gill is a Business Administration major with a concentration in Finance and Accounting. He is expected to graduate in May 2018. He has been involved with various organizations including ASI, Indian Student Association, Student Managed Investment Fund, Finance Association, American Marketing Association, Accounting Society, and Beta Gamma Sigma. He has had internships at Morgan Stanley and Waddell & Reed. He pursued this position because he likes to reflect on who he is and where he is in life, and therefore is constantly looking for ways to improve himself by adding new experiences. This position is helping him hone in on my skills and helping him develop new ones. He also likes numbers. He hopes to work in the financial industry as an Investment Banker or Equity Research Analyst before going into business for himself. Gabriel is a senior Business Administration major with a concentration in Entertainment and Tourism Management. As he approaches his anticipated graduation date of May 2017, he also holds the honor of serving as the ASI Chief Administrative Officer. Holding such a prestigious position came after years of involvement within some of the following organizations: the Latino Business Student Association (LBSA), the Business Inter-Club Council (BICC), the Sales Leadership Center, and the Associated Students Incorporated (ASI). Furthermore, his extracurricular involvement also led to a summer internship in Columbus, Ohio with Nationwide Financial. At Nationwide, he had the privilege of serving as a Sales Intern under their Defined Contribution Investments Only Team. Ultimately, he decided to pursue the ASI Chief Administrative Officer position because he truly believes in the student voice and the representation of the common student. He is always willing to help other students accomplish their goals in any manner possible, as it reminds him of the time when he was an eager and ambitious underclassman. Upon graduation, he hopes to continue helping individuals through the financial industry by assisting others in their preparation for retirement. He would like to recognize that all his success could have not been accomplished without the support of his family and friends. Lastly, his style of living and philosophy on life is inspired by the following Dr. Seuss quote, “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.”

Laila is a Business Administration major with a concentration in finance. She is expected to graduate in Spring 2019. She has been involved with various on-campus groups including the ASI Street Team, ASI Board of Directors, ASI Scholarships Committee, and the ASI Environmental Sustainability Commission. She served on the executive Staff for the Natural Sciences and Mathematics Inter Club Council and currently serves on the ASI Executive Staff as Chief Communications Officer. She worked in a Biotech Research Lab for a year and a half, and currently works as a Student Assistant for the Data Analytics and Marketing Teams at the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics. She is of the opinion that college is what you make of it and she wants to make the most of her time at Cal State Fullerton. She wants to pursue a career in the world of corporate banking, but would first like to focus on attending graduate school. Amanda Martinez is a fourth year Political Science Major and Economics Minor. She served on the Associated Students Incorporated Board of Directors and various University wide committees, advocating on behalf of Cal State Fullerton students. Recently, Amanda studied and worked in Washington D.C. as a Panetta Scholar. Upon her return, interested in giving back to the student body and being an advocate for higher education she now holds the position as Chief Governmental Officer for the ASI. She hopes to pursue a career in National Security and work for the Department of Defense or the State Department. Her favorite place to be is in an airport.
