The ASI Executive Staff represent students' needs and interests to CSUF's faculty and administration. They manage the day-to-day proceedings of student programs and initiate projects that benefit students.
Statement of Purpose
The ASI Executive Staff strives to lead, change, fight, and live for students. Our goal is to serve as representatives for and LEAD the Titan community by voicing student needs. In presenting innovative ideas, we provide CHANGE and opportunities for active student involvement. We FIGHT to promote student interests and inspire growth within our Titan community. We LIVE to unify the students through Titan Pride and enhance our vibrant campus life. We are “Students for Students."

Dwayne Mason Jr.

Dwayne Mason Jr. is a 5th year Studio Art major. Throughout his college career, he has been involved in a variety of different areas at CSUF.
As a freshman, he was involved with Titan Tusk Force as a volunteer. He also sat on the ASI Scholarship Committee. In his second year, he continued involvement with TTF as the Events Coordinator. He sat on the Titan Student Centers Governing Board as the ASI President’s Designee and also sat on the University Affairs Committee. To add to his involvement as a sophomore, he also joined Sigma Nu Fraternity during the spring semester. During his third year, he was appointed as the Director of TTF and also served as the Vice Chair for University Affairs. Later that year, he was elected as the President of Sigma Nu Fraternity.
This year, Dwayne’s main goals are to get students engaged and involved with ASI, communicate and collaborate with various student groups on campus, and to develop ways for ASI to engage the Fullerton community. He plans to accomplish this through effective communication and partnerships with students, clubs/organizations, and the university.

Katie Ayala is a 5th year Communicative Disorders and Child and Adolescent Development Double Major with a minor in Human Services. She is serving this year as your ASI Executive Vice President. Her past involvements include Student Leadership Institute, joining the sorority Alpha Delta Pi, as well as Jumpstart all in her freshman year. As the years continued she got involved with ASI Productions as their Street Team Coordinator which then led her to become the ASI Productions Administrative Director, overseeing all the entertainment ASI has to offer on campus. Last year she served as the Dean of Students Get Involved Street Team Director as well as the Director for Standards and Ethics in Alpha Delta Pi.
Katie wants to make strong decisive decisions that will best suit the student body. She is a student for students and hopes to really help student governance accomplish their goals.

Vice President of Finance

Jane Han is a fourth year student studying Business Marketing and English at California State University, Fullerton. She is so excited to be serving as your ASI Vice President of Finance this year! Her previous involvements on campus include sitting on the Finance Committee as a student-at-large and volunteering as a camp counselor for ASI’s philanthropic program, Camp Titan. She also served as a Titan Ambassador giving tours to prospective college students with New Student Programs last year.
Jane would like to create an ASI and IRA budget that continues to support current and new organizations that promote growth and unity within the Cal State Fullerton community. Go, Titans!

Chief Administrative Officer

Sam Morales is a Senior Political Science/ Public Administration Major. He is serving this year as your ASI Chief Administrative Officer. His past involvement has included being a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity since 2010, as well as a Titan Tusk Force Member. In 2011 he ran for the Board of Directors to be a representative for the college of Humanities and Social Sciences. However after falling short a couple of votes, he did not win. This did not stop him from pursuing his involvements with ASI and in 2012 became the Elections Commissioner. He now dedicates his time to getting students involved in committees, clubs and organizations within the ASI.
Sam’s main objective for the 2012-2013 year is to be able to connect with the new incoming students of CSUF as well as student who are trying to get involved on their campus through either ASI of other clubs or organizations on campus. As a student advocating for the students of CSUF Sam plans to execute goals that will benefit the student population such as more academic advising in both general education and major advising and extending library hours.
Sam was born and raised in Compton, CA and he is the first in his family to go to college. He strongly believes that “Impossible is nothing. What you do in life echoes in eternity” – Anonymous

Chief Communications Officer

Josué Eduardo Rodriguez is a 4th year Radio-Tv-Film and Communications-Public Relations Double Major. This year he will be serving as the Chief Communications Officer communicating, marketing and promoting everything ASI. His past involvement includes joining Camp Titan his freshman year and staying dedicated to the program thus far in his college career. He also got involved as a volunteer for ASI Productions Street Team to which he later was appointed the position of Union & Special Programming Coordinator. His past involvement then inspired him to become the ASI Productions Administrative Director, overseeing all the entertainment ASI has to offer. Other involvements include being a dedicated member of Sigma Nu National Fraternity as the fraternity’s Scholarship Chair and New Member Educator.
This year Josué hopes to improve the overall internal and external communication within ASI, establish solid communication campaigns holistic of all aspects of communication and help push the message that all students on this campus are ASI.

Kayla Coriaty
Chief Governmental Officer

Kayla Coriaty is a Senior Political Science major and a Communications Public Relations minor. She is serving this year as your ASI Chief Governmental Officer. Kayla began her involvement at CSUF with the office of New Student Programs as an orientation leader in the summer of 2010. In addition, she served as a Titan Ambassador and an Information Specialist in the same office. Her New Student Programs experience culminated in her service as the 2011-2012 Student Coordinator of Campus Tours. Kayla has also been involved in ASI since her freshman year, first as a member of Titan Tusk Force, then as the Athletics Coordinator of Titan Tusk Force and a member of the Lobby Corps committee. Additionally, Kayla was a competitive member of the 2011-2012 CSUF Moot Court team. She currently serves as a Student Alumni Ambassador and is a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society. These involvements have been a vital part of her college experience and have made her a very proud Titan!
Kayla's main objective this year is to educate students about important political issues directly affecting our university and encouraging them to act on these, especially by registering to vote and heading to the polls to do so. Kayla and the rest of the Lobby Corps team intend to aggressively advocate for students at the local, statewide, and national levels and encourage students to join in the fight for higher education.
After graduation, Kayla plans on heading to the east coast to pursue a Master's Degree in Higher Education Student Affairs.
