Instructionally Related Activities

Associated Students, CSUF, Inc. administers the Instructionally Related Activities (IRA) fee that students pay each semester to provide funding for educational experiences and activities. In Fall of 2000, students voted to assess themselves a fee of $26.00 per semester to support Instructionally Related Activities. The IRA Committee is composed of six students, six faculty/administrators, and two non-voting ex-officio (ASI staff), and makes recommendations to the President of the University regarding the annual IRA budget. The Instructionally Related Activities Committee reviews annual budget requests from campus programs to recommend funding for instructionally related activities.

To determine whether your class activity may be eligible for IRA funding, please read "Criteria for Defining a Program as an Instructionally Related Activity."
