Candidate Biography
Hello, my name is Nanziwe Bhebhe and I study Chemistry in the College of Natural Science and Mathematics. I have always had a love for the sciences and that love has pushed me to take up many leadership positions. I am an involved on campus in many ways currently serving as the NSM ICC Vice Chair, Vice President of the student chapter of NOBCChE at CSUF, and a member of the Dr. Cooley Research Lab since Spring 2024. Being apart of these organizations has allowed me to be able to go to conferences, gain new insight, and strengthen my want to get others involved in not only chemistry but also all natural sciences.
Candidate Statement/Platform
In this ASI Board of Directors position, I hope to be a helping hand to the students of Natural Science and Mathematics community. Allowing them to know that their wants and needs are being listened to and taken into account. In my time as being Vice Chair of the NSM ICC, I have had the opportunity to work with such passionate clubs that work so hard to inform and help students find particular interests, help with grad school and build community. I want to work on having more inner college collaboration among club organizations and get more students involved and informed on the ways they can be a part of them.
