Candidate Biography

My name is Mason Box, and I am a junior at California State University, Fullerton majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Computer Science. As a College of Business student, I am passionate about bridging academics, professional development, and real-world experience for Titans.

Being involved on campus has shown me how important strong organization and student advocacy are. I founded and currently serve as the treasurer of the CSUF Wrestling Club, where I helped build the organization from the ground up. Through this experience, I have worked closely with university offices, managed budgets, and helped create a welcoming space where students from all backgrounds can get involved and find community.

My experiences as a student balancing academics, leadership, and campus involvement have shaped my desire to serve others. I understand the challenged College of Business students face when it comes to navigating resources, opportunities, and communication within the university.

I am running to represent College of Business students because I want to be a reliable voice who listens, advocates, and works to ensure students have access to the tools and opportunities they need to succeed at CSUF and beyond.

Candidate Statement/Platform

If elected as a College of Business ASI representative, my goal is to be a strong, reliable advocate for students and to help improve how resources, opportunities, and information are shared within the college.

One of my main priorities is accessible professional development and career preparation. Many College of Business students are motivated to pursue internships, leadership roles, and full-time careers, but often struggle to find clear information about available resources. I want to work toward improving how career opportunities, workshops, and networking events are communicated to students can easily take advantage of them regardless of their background or prior experience.

Another focus of mine is to strengthen communication between students, faculty, and administration. Students should feel informed and heard when decisions are being made that impact their academic experience. As a representative, I want to be someone students feel comfortable coming to. I will listen closely to concerns and work to make information about advising, academic policies, and college initiatives clearer and easier to understand.

I am also committed to supporting equitable access to academic and campus resources. Whether it is access to advising, technology, or study spaces, every College of Business student deserves the tools necessary to succeed. I will work to make sure that these resources are accessible, well-communicated, and responsive to student needs.

Ultimately, I want to serve as a representative who is approachable, engaged, and accountable. By listening to students and advocating for practical improvements, I hope to help foster a College of Business experience where students feel support, prepared, and confident in their path forward.
