Candidate for President
Candidate Slogan

Candidate Biography
I am a Fullerton resident, student advocate, and experienced representative committed to serving Titans of all backgrounds and lived experiences. I currently serve on the City of Fullerton’s Active Transportation Committee, where I work on issues related to accessibility, mobility, and equity that directly impact students and community members. In addition, I have held multiple senate and leadership positions, giving me hands-on experience navigating systems, advocating for students, and pushing for meaningful change.
Through my work in both city and campus spaces, I have learned how to collaborate across differences, listen to community needs, and remain persistent—even when change is difficult. I believe strong representation means showing up consistently, staying accountable, and using every available tool to uplift others.
I am passionate about building a more inclusive campus culture that supports Hispanic students, other minority communities, and all student groups. I lead with courage, compassion, and determination, always guided by the belief that progress is possible when we act together.
Sin miedo con amor — Without fear, with love.
Candidate Statement/Platform
I am running to help create a brighter future rooted in economic justice, inclusion, and opportunity for all Titans. Students deserve a campus that works for them—one where financial barriers, lack of access, or exclusion do not stand in the way of success. I want to represent you and ensure student voices are heard in every space where decisions are made.
If elected, I will focus on issues that directly affect students’ daily lives, including parking affordability, tuition concerns, housing insecurity, work hours, and access to resources. These challenges are not isolated—they shape whether students can fully participate in their education. I am committed to advocating for transparent policies, equitable solutions, and student-centered decision-making.
As a Fullerton resident and member of the Active Transportation Committee, I understand how transportation, safety, and infrastructure impact students on and off campus. I will bring this perspective to ASI by advocating for safer, more accessible, and more inclusive transportation options that serve commuters, residents, and students alike.
Inclusion is at the core of my platform. I want to help build a campus culture that actively supports Hispanic students, other minority communities, and all student groups. Representation should go beyond words—it requires action, accountability, and shared power. I believe students and their families deserve to feel supported, respected, and empowered.
While these goals may sound ambitious, meaningful change always begins with a commitment to act. Together, we can start building a better tomorrow—today.
Sin miedo con amor — Without fear, with love.

Candidate Biography
Hello CSU Fullerton my name is Nicole Nunez, I am a Political Science major and an enthusiast for policy analysis and speaking up against adversity. I am a second generation Mexican – American, who has been fortunate enough to be born and raised in Los Angeles. Thanks to that I have been exposed to all kinds of cultures and I seek to bring unity within all communities, starting off with CSU Fullerton which I have called home for the past 4 years.
Previously I had the opportunity to inter under the 67th Assembly District, which is the mix of Los Angeles county and Orange County. With my experience with the assembly I was able to connect with members of both communities and began to hear the warrants that each resident brought. With my experience I will have a better understanding and connection with my fellow titans and help advocate for needs as a university.
Candidate Statement/Platform
I am running to advocate for a campus that works for both on-campus and off-campus students. Having experienced campus life in different ways, I understand that students’ needs vary, and representation must reflect those differences. Every student deserves to feel supported, heard, and included—no matter where they live.
If elected, my goal is to uplift student voices and ensure decision-making reflects the realities of students both on campus and beyond it. I believe student government should be accessible, transparent, and responsive to the community it serves. I am committed to bridging gaps between different student experiences and advocating for policies that support student success as a whole.
Creating inclusive and safe spaces is central to my platform. I am especially committed to supporting Latino students and other underrepresented communities while ensuring all students have opportunities to grow, organize, and learn how to advocate for themselves. A strong campus culture is one where students feel empowered to speak up and supported when they do.
Representation is about action, not just intention. I believe in leadership that listens, collaborates, and follows through. I will work to make sure student concerns are taken seriously and that students have a seat at the table in conversations that affect them.
While change takes time, progress begins when we choose to act. Together, we can build a campus rooted in equity, inclusion, and shared power—one that supports both on-campus and off-campus students now and in the future.
