Candidate Biography
I am Elyse Gabrielle Ramos, and I am a first-year here at CSUF. I am passionate about student advocacy, leadership, and building a campus where every student feels seen, supported, and empowered to use their voice. I bring years of experience in leadership, communication, and community involvement. Throughout high school, I served in leadership roles where I planned events, emceed rallies, represented my school, and worked closely with students, staff, and administrators to create inclusive and engaging environments. I am also a dancer, which has helped shaped my creativity, discipline, and ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people. I am excited to continue learning, growing, and serving the CSUF community while helping students fall fully in love with our school and community!
Candidate Statement/Platform
If elected, Emily and I hope to create a campus environment where students feel heard, supported, and genuinely connected to CSUF. We believe ASI should feel accessible and truly representative of the students it serves. Our goal is to make sure students not only know what resources are available to them, but also feel comfortable using those resources and using their voice to shape campus life.
A major focus of our campaign is increasing visibility and outreach. There are so many incredible opportunities on campus that students either don’t know about or don’t realize are meant for them. We want to do more to get the word out about essential resources like the Student Pantry, as well as fun ASI events, scholarships, and on-campus employment opportunities. By improving advertising, communication, and campus presence, we hope to make these resources easier to find and more approachable for all students.
As first-year students, we understand how overwhelming it can be to navigate a large campus and figure out where to go for support. That perspective drives our commitment to clear communication, transparency, and approachability. We want students to feel comfortable reaching out to ASI, asking questions, and sharing concerns, knowing they will be met with respect and care.
We are also committed to creating spaces for student feedback and open dialogue. Whether through tabling, events, or listening opportunities, we want to hear directly from students about what is working and what can be improved. Student voices deserve to be part of the decision-making process, and we want to help strengthen that connection.
At the heart of our campaign is the belief that CSUF is for everyone. No matter a student’s background, major, or year, every Titan deserves access to support, opportunities, and a genuine sense of belonging. Emily and I are committed to helping create a campus where students feel included, informed, and excited to be involved.
Everyone deserves the opportunity to fall fully in love with Fullerton — not just through classes, but through the community, traditions, and everyday moments that make campus feel like home. Whether that looks like discovering a favorite study spot, attending campus events, joining clubs, or simply feeling proud to call yourself a Titan, we want students to feel connected to their college experience.
By strengthening campus spirit and fostering Titan pride, we hope to create an environment where students feel confident showing up as themselves and proud of the community they are part of. Our goal is to help make CSUF more than just a place students attend, but a place they truly belong.

Candidate Biography
Hi Titans, my name is Emily Clymer! I am currently a first-year majoring in Pre-Business with plans to focus on finance and marketing further down the line. On campus, I spend my time feeding my passions with the CSUF Women’s Business Association and American Marketing Association. I am also a member of the Fullout Dance club here at Fullerton and assist ASI through street team. Lastly, taking part working at CSUF’s beloved Aloha Java, where I may have even taken some of your orders before! An important aspect to know about me is I stand for kindness, equality and opportunity. Called upon Christ as his disciple, I am devoted to moving with purpose in everything, bringing positive changes to impact on my community.
Candidate Statement/Platform
If elected as Vice President, I aspire to be a voice advocating alongside Elyse Ramos with our aligned mindset to pursue a campus environment that the students of Cal State Fullerton feel supported, heard and understood. Enhance students’ college experience by allowing CSUF campus to be a place of genuine connection. We strongly believe ASI should feel accessible and representative of the students it serves. Desires to not only amplify the resources and opportunities available but encourage our fellow students in feeling comfortable to access them and utilize those resources plus voice to shape campus life.

Being both first- year students ourselves we can understand being overwhelmed by navigating a new campus and seeking support. Which is why we are committed to transparency, approachability, and communication. Ensuring students feel comfortable coming to ASI with any comment or concern because they are met with mutual respect and care. A goal to create a safe space allowing feedback through events where it can become a listening opportunity for us because we want your voices to be heard. To gain a better understanding of how our university can be improved or what is working. Students can trust Elyse and I that actions will be taken from their feedback by our passion for leadership and advocacy, we are devoted to you!
The mission is for CSUF to be the school students feel they truly belong rather than just attending. We will strengthen campus spirit, foster Titan pride, in hopes students can be confident showing up as themselves and proudly take part in their community because we have created that environment. Campus should feel like a home through community, traditions, and everyday moments not only classes and curriculum. My team longs for students to feel connected to their college experience and proud to call themselves a Titan! Our campaign is fully in love with Fully and we stand that everyone deserves an opportunity to fall in love with Fullerton as well!
