25 Apr Got Questions? Community Chat Returns to Empower Titan Voices This Spring
Associated Students Inc. (ASI) invites all Cal State Fullerton students to its Spring 2025 Community Chat on April 29, from noon–1 p.m. at the Titan Student Union Grand Staircase, offering a unique opportunity for students to engage directly with student leaders, campus administrators and CSUF leadership.
Community Chat, launched by student government, is designed to encourage student advocacy and engagement at all levels, promoting meaningful conversations where voices can be heard and concerns can be addressed.
“The ASI Community Chat is an important space that helps amplify student voices and enhance student empowerment,” said Joe Morales, ASI President and CSUF student. “It gives students the spotlight and allows them to ask us anything—whether it’s about campus policies, resources or current concerns.”

The CSUF Leadership panel will include: Vice President of Student Affairs Dr.David Forgues, Vice President of Administration and Finance Alex Porter, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr.Amir Dabirian and Assistant Vice President of Engagement and Belonging Cecil Chek.
The ASI student leader panel will include President Morales, Board of Directors Chair Gavin Ong, Chief Campus Relations Officer Haneefah Syed and Executive Director Executive Director Dave Edwards.
Although the chat occurs every semester, each iteration is tailored based off the current campus environment. During this semester’s chat, topics to be explored include the ASI Student Wellness Initiative (ASWI), academic advising, campus policies, parking, upcoming faculty shifts for Fall 2025 and more.

“Now more than ever, we need students to amplify their voices,” Morales emphasized. “This is the time to speak up and speak out against any and all issues they may be facing; there are serious concerns affecting our campus and our state, and it is crucial that students realize just how powerful their voices are.”
For students unable to attend in person, the event will be livestreamed via Zoom, where students will have the opportunity to ask questions or submit them through a form.
