01 Dec Tuffy’s Winter of Giving Brings Holiday Cheer and Community Spirit to Cal State Fullerton
Associated Students Inc.’s Tuffy Winter of Giving brings connection, compassion and community this holiday season to Cal State Fullerton. A seasonal toy drive hosted by ASI’s student government, the Fullerton community is encouraged to donate new or used toys on Dec.1, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Titan Student Union Pub. The donated items will directly benefit local families and children in need, where participants can contribute by bringing toys to the event; no sign-up required.
This year’s Tuffy Winter of Giving is made possible through the collaboration of several campus partners, including the ASI Children’s Center, ASI Social Justice and Equity Commission, Black Student Union, Girl Scouts, Girls on the Run and Girls Inc.
“This event is all about celebrating the season while giving back to our community,” said Natalie Veik, ASI community engagement director. “It’s a chance for students and community members to come together and make a real difference for local families.”
Tuffy’s Winter of Giving will serve as both a toy drive and a community-building celebration, encouraging Titans to share the spirit of giving.

“Seeing Tuffy’s Winter of Giving come together has been such an uplifting experience,” said Savannah Miller, ASI community engagement coordinator. “From coordinating outreach to setting up the toy drive, it’s been rewarding to watch our campus rally around giving back. Knowing that our collective effort will brighten the holidays for children in our community makes this event truly special.”
The event will offer a variety of festive, hands-on activities for all attendees, from gingerbread house decorating to seasonal treats and raffle giveaways. It will also create space for everyone to connect, unwind, and reflect as the semester comes to a close.
“Seeing our students step up to help others is truly inspiring,” said Veik. “Whether it’s donating a toy, decorating a gingerbread house or attending to support the cause, every contribution matters.”
