29 Jan ASI Celebrates 50 Years of Student Impact with Community, Resources and Music
Cal State Fullerton students, staff, alumni and faculty celebrated 50 years of Associated Students Inc.’s history in motion by attending ASI’s 50th Anniversary Kickoff Event on Jan. 27 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Becker Amphitheater. With live music, food trucks, resources, and free giveaways, the event highlighted a journey through generations of ASI student leaders, accomplishments and initiatives that have elevated the Titan experience.

From past to present, ASI’s Billiards Station has brought students together through recreation, friendship and tradition.
Attendees had the opportunity to connect with ASI departments such as Student Government, Student Programs and Engagement, the ASI Food Pantry, the Student Recreation Center and more, learned about available resources and discovered how ASI supports student success both inside and outside the classroom.

“Working with students is the reason I’m here. Seeing their enthusiasm, the ideas and the drive that the students have is outstanding,” said Jeff Fehrn, ASI chief of Organizational Operations. “Student leaders come in with the mentality, ‘This is going a help other students.’ I continue to see that in our students and in the work of ASI. For a lot of folks that work here, our influence on students is what keeps us excited about the work we do.”
Celebrations throughout the day featured live performance by No Duh, a No Doubt tribute band honoring former Titan Gwen Stefani.
