Seeking Candidacy for: Board of Directors, College of Communications

Biography:

I’m a third-year journalism student pursuing a minor in Spanish on the side who
actively uses my broadcast work to create strong connections with my peers and
foster a welcoming, diverse community for everyone. Throughout my time at CSUF,
I’ve worked with different clubs, such as Latino Journalist de CSUF, Girl Gains, and
Titan Racing. Serving on the executive board of the former two clubs.

Statement/Platform:

I aspire to be a reliable communicator between students and directors by joining
the College of Communications Board of Directors. I will listen to my peers’
concerns and seek ways to address their issues promptly.
Given the college’s size, I believe it’s essential to highlight its unique diversity and
encourage students from all backgrounds to maximize their experience by
ensuring that every student is equally aware of all opportunities and has access to
vital resources. It’s crucial for students to know they have a classmate advocating
for their needs and to feel inspired to connect with the appropriate resources and
programs offered by the College of Communications.
