Biography:

My passion for leadership and student advocacy stems from my deep commitment
to ensuring that no student is left behind. Through my work with disabled and
elementary students, teaching them sports and assisting in classrooms, I have
developed a strong dedication to helping others learn, grow, and navigate
challenges. These experiences have reinforced my belief that every student
deserves support, guidance, and a voice in their educational journey. This is why I
am so passionate about student government, and want to be an advocate for
those who may not know how to speak up or feel they do not have the opportunity
to do so.

I have held numerous leadership positions in organizations on and off campus.
These roles have taught me the importance of collaboration, negotiation, and
standing firm in my beliefs while also finding common ground to create solutions
that benefit everyone. My experiences have equipped me with the skills to lead
with integrity, adaptability, and a commitment to progress.
As a candidate, I bring not only experience but also my own personal leadership
rooted in action, advocacy, and a relentless dedication to creating a more
accessible, supportive, and empowering environment for every student.

Statement/Platform:

Expand Internship & Job Opportunities on Campus
One of my top priorities is ensuring that students have direct access to careerbuilding
opportunities that set them up for success beyond graduation. I will work
to bring more major firms and businesses to campus by creating innovative
mentorship programs, career workshops, and networking events that provide
valuable internships and job opportunities. These initiatives will connect students
with respected industry professionals and open doors to real-world experience in
their chosen fields. Additionally, I plan to leverage our extensive alumni network by
inviting successful former Titans to share their expertise, mentor students, and
collaborate on projects that build a strong, career-focused support system. By
fostering these partnerships, I will ensure that HSS students are equipped with the
connections and resources they need to transition seamlessly into the workforce or
graduate programs.

Strengthen Academic Support & Student Learning Resources
Every student deserves the tools and resources necessary to succeed academically,
which is why I will advocate for modernized learning spaces and expanded peer
tutoring programs. Increasing support for Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a key
initiative I will champion, as this peer-led academic assistance program empowers
students to support one another in mastering course material. I will work to
expand SI support across more subjects and ensure students have access to
flexible study groups, review sessions, and one-on-one tutoring options tailored to
their needs. Additionally, I will advocate for enhanced study environments,
including designated quiet spaces and technology-equipped study areas that
facilitate collaboration and learning. My goal is to make academic success more
accessible to every student, no matter their learning style or background.

Foster Entrepreneurship & Innovation for HSS Students
Innovation and entrepreneurship are crucial for students looking to turn their ideas
into reality, and I am dedicated to providing the resources and support necessary
for aspiring entrepreneurs to thrive. I will work to establish hands-on mentorship
programs and workshops that guide students through the process of developing
and launching their ventures. Additionally, I will organize pitch competitions that
provide students with the opportunity to secure funding and receive valuable
feedback from industry leaders. I will also collaborate with CSUF’s alumni network
and local business leaders to create innovation sessions where students can
connect with professionals, gain insights into entrepreneurial success, and refine
their business strategies. By championing these initiatives, I will ensure that every
student with a vision has the support and opportunities to bring their ideas to life,
fostering a culture of innovation and forward-thinking within the HSS community.
