Biography:

Hello! My name is Christian Ruiz, and I am a second-year English major. I pride myself on embracing my school spirit through being involved on campus in programs such as HAU, university honors, and the NUFP cohort, and I am a Titan Ambassador that you may have seen around campus giving tours and working significant campus events. Outside of school, I love to spend time with my three dogs and video games with my best friends.

Statement/Platform:

If elected, I want to ensure that students can feel safe and valued during their time at CSUF, not just in the college of HSS. Empathy and listening are core values I lead with and like to show in my work. I believe that at times like these, where many of our student body may feel unsafe or worried about their future, it is essential more than ever to focus on the diversity of our student body and how much it enriches our college campus. So, I would like to emphasize and work on not only making college a learning space but a safe and diverse one as well.
