Associated Students Inc. (ASI) invites students, staff and the Cal State Fullerton community to its annual Tuffy Marketplace on March 27 from 4- 7 p.m. on Tuffy Lawn.
Tuffy’s Marketplace, launched by ASI Student Programming and Engagement, is a vibrant celebration of student entrepreneurship, culture and artistic expression at CSUF. The event will feature live music, diverse food options to purchase and opportunities to support student communities on campus.
“The marketplace was created for student businesses. Since 2024, we have grown from having 20 vendors to 40 in just one year,” said ASI’s Programming Events Coordinator April Tran. “Our applicant signups have overwhelmingly grown since last year’s event.”

Tuffy’s Marketplace is designed to bring together CSUF’s campus community, providing students with a dynamic space to sell their products, advertise their brands and engage with potential customers.
“The biggest thing we wanted to do with this event was provide a free platform for vendors,” Tran said. “We wanted to give students the chance to show people their creations and practice what they love.”
In addition to offering students a platform, Tuffy’s Marketplace provides attendees with the opportunity to purchase diverse cultural products and unique, student-crafted items. Products being sold this year include second-hand clothing, custom jewelry and vibrant art. Campus dance groups, Ballet Folklórico de CSUF and SEOLFUL, will also add to the evening with exciting performances.
“[Programming] typically doesn’t get to work a lot with campus dance groups,” Tran said. “In hosting Tuffy’s Marketplace, teams can perform at one our events and showcase their talents on a larger scale.

Local food trucks will also be available for students to explore and enjoy as they shop, featuring cuisines from Kogi Food Truck and Shake Ramen. By visiting at least three vendors, students can earn a voucher to further enjoy these diverse options. This gives students the opportunity to engage directly with these businesses and learn more about the campus vendors.
Whether attending as a vendor, performer or guest, attendees can look forward to an evening of creativity and connection.
