  • 14 paid holidays every year
  • Vacation time that grows over your career, from 10 days a year to 24, depending on years of service.
  • 8 hours of sick leave per month (12 days per year) to support your health

Taking care of yourself and your family should be simple.

 

ASI offers:

  • Medical insurance through CalPERS with a variety of plans at low or no cost. Only three plans have any out-of-pocket premium, and none are more than about $100 per month.
  • Delta Dental Insurance with 100% of the employee premium covered by ASI.
  • VSP Vision Insurance with 100% coverage for employees and low-cost options for dependents.
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) to save pre-tax dollars on eligible expenses:
    • Health FSA up to $7,500 per year, pre-tax
    • Dependent Care FSA up to $7,500 per year, pre-tax
  • REACH gives you free, confidential access to counselors and resources whenever you need support.
  • Free membership to the Student Recreation Center for full-time employees, including access to the gym, pool, fitness classes, and more.

ASI conducts a market analysis of compensation every two years to help ensure fair, competitive pay and support merit-based bonuses, while also providing robust retirement options so you can plan confidently for the future.

 

  • CalPERS PEPRA retirement plan (2% at 62), a defined benefit pension that grows with your service:
    • Tier 1 Employees: 5% employee contribution, 15.88% employer contribution.
    • Tier 2 Employees: 5% employee contribution, 14.03% employer contribution.
    • Tier 3 Employees: 8.5% employee contribution (amount adjusts biannually), 8.55% employer contribution.
  • Optional 403(b) plan through SchoolsFirst Credit Union so you can save even more for retirement.

Educational/Tuition Reimbursement: After one year of employment, you can apply for up to $3,150 per year in reimbursement for tuition and fees related to your academic studies.
