Seeking Candidacy for: Board of Directors, College of Communications

Biography:

Hi!!!! My name is Landon, I am a first year here at CSUF, and I am a Communicative
Sciences and Disorders major here at CSUF, I am also involved in our school’s
Men’s Volleyball Club here on campus. I have a lot of experience when it comes to
leadership, being team captain for multiple volleyball teams, founding my high
school’s Black Student Union, and being my high school’s drum major as well.

Statement/Platform:

Being a Communicative Disorders major, we must communicate, what needs to get
done as effectively as possible. As a Black queer POC who has started a BSU of my
own, I know what it is like to uplift and support the voices of the marginalized, and I
will try my very hardest to push social issues to the forefront and discuss how we
can create a more inclusive environment on campus for everyone. It’s hard out
here for college students, and the school should be making our lives easier, so
whatever issue you have, lay it on me and I will make sure that it will be passed on
to the proper people in an appropriate space.
