Hi Titans!
I’m Arushi Patil (she/her), a third-year Business Administration major with a
concentration in Finance.
As Vice President of Finance for both Alpha Delta Pi and the Panhellenic Council
over the past two years, I’ve managed budgets, advocated for student needs, and
worked on initiatives that directly impact our campus community. My experiences
have strengthened my leadership, problem-solving, and financial management
skills—tools I want to bring to ASI to empower business students.
As your Board of Directors representative, I aim to amplify student voices, increase
access to resources, and foster greater engagement within the College of Business
and Economics. I’m committed to ensuring that students feel supported.
Let’s build a stronger, more connected business community—together.
If elected, I aim to achieve three key goals: enhancing campus resources, increasing
student engagement, and strengthening the sense of community.
ENHANCING CAMPUS RESOURCES: One of my top priorities in this position would
be to increase awareness and access to academic and career resources. I plan to
work with career services, faculty, and administration to strengthen
communication and partnerships so that students have the resources they need to
succeed. Through this, I aim to bridge any gaps and make sure that no student
feels unsupported.
INCREASING STUDENT ENGAGEMENT: Our campus has an amazing selection of
student organizations and opportunities. I believe in the importance of ensuring
that all students can find activities that match their interests. I’ll push for a greater
presence of student-led organizations on campus, supporting them to make their
initiatives more impactful. Additionally, I will advocate for increasing student
involvement in decision-making processes to ensure that their needs and ideas are
always considered.
STRENGTHENING SENSE OF COMMUNITY: Creating a campus environment where
we students feel connected, valued, and supported is crucial to our success. I will
work to foster a more inclusive and welcoming atmosphere. Whether it’s through
social gatherings, cultural events, or collaborative projects, I will advocate for
initiatives that bring students from different backgrounds together. With this, we
can cultivate a campus culture that prioritizes mutual respect and understanding.
By focusing on these three pillars, I am confident we can create a more vibrant and
supportive campus for all. Thank you for considering me as your representative on
the ASI Board of Directors. Together, we can make Cal State Fullerton an even
better place for all students to succeed and thrive.
