Statement/Platform:

Our campaign strongly commits to five pillars that make Titans proud of their campus. Our first is having purposeful change across campus that enhances existing student opportunities and creates new ones that promote community building, wellness, and professional development. Our hope is for our campus to grow alongside our student body, as we want to be adaptable to issues that affect students both short and long term.

The second pillar is to be responsible in our advocacy for students. We want to honor a level of transparency that gives students insight into where fees are being used and how ASI can best utilize these funds in ways that give back to Titans. We promise accountability, accessibility and are continuously open to feedback as we are here to be active listeners. We understand that as student leaders our role is to elevate concerns to campus administration and we want to effectively communicate these concerns to our administration.

The third pillar is open engagement. We are here to remind the student body of opportunities that exist both within ASI and across other campus departments such as existing programming, student jobs, scholarships, research, advocacy efforts, etc. We hope to create new forms of engagement that equip our Titans with new professional development pathways that have updated internships, training, and networking opportunities. We aim to develop programming that caters to Titans who learn online or commute, ensuring that their student fees are effectively utilized and provide value in line with their unique schedules.

Our fourth pillar is to better understand the needs of our students as each Titan holds their own unique story. We are devoted to catering campus and ASI’s resources to be more personable and effective for students to use. This includes working with departments such as CAPS, the career center, academic advising and DIRC. We want to understand what students need inside and outside of the classroom to foster their own personal growth, wellness and success.

Lastly, we are here to amplify the diverse voices of our Titan community by highlighting our niche campus communities and celebrating the unique and significant stories of our students. We want to dedicate more ASI programming and marketing to empower these communities and celebrate the rich heritage and history of our student body. We also want to institutionalize more heritage and recognition events in the university calendar to celebrate our Titans from less visible communities. We want to expand scholarship and mentorship opportunities to marginalized student groups on campus and find ways to partner to have more social media and news coverage about the successes of our diverse student body.

Our goal is to ensure that when you leave CSUF, you do so with pride—proud of your campus, the experiences you’ve had, and the accomplishments you’ve achieved. Together, we will build a legacy that leaves a lasting impact on our university and local community. Vote TitanPROUD!
