Hi there, Titans! I’m Sonal Mogra, and I feel privileged to be a candidate for the ASI Board of Directors. I am a proud recipient of the ECS Merit Scholarship and a graduate student at CSUF working for a master’s degree in computer engineering. Through my varied experiences as a board member of the Hindu Yuva Club, a volunteer for the International Student Services (ISS) community, and a student ambassador for ASI, I offer a combination of technical know-how and leadership. I’ve also held positions as a data analyst and AI/ML software developer at CSUF, where I worked as a graduate assistant and contributed to cutting-edge projects like facial recognition software, healthcare cost prediction, and AI-based chatbots. My goal is to make the campus more welcoming and encouraging so that all students feel empowered and heard. If elected, I will focus on enhancing campus resources, promoting diversity, and ensuring that your voices are represented in every decision. Let’s work together to make CSUF an even better place!
Hi there, Titans! Sonal Mogra is my name, and I’m thrilled to be a member of the ASI Board of Directors. I have a strong desire to promote innovation, inclusivity, and student achievement. In order to improve the CSUF student experience, if elected, I will prioritize this areas: 1.Strengthening Student Opinions I’m determined to make sure your voice is heard because it matters. My objective is to establish additional venues for students to voice their opinions and concerns. I will try to close the gap between students and university administration through open forums, frequent feedback sessions, and open communication. 2. Improving Resources on Campus A hive of varied abilities and aspirations is CSUF. I’ll fight to increase access to professional development opportunities, mental health treatments, and academic resources. As a graduate student with background in both technical and leadership positions, I am aware of the difficulties we encounter, such as gaining access to research opportunities or handling exam stress. I’ll advocate for programs that enhance students’ well-being and encourage academic achievement. 3. Encouraging Inclusion and Diversity As someone who is actively connected with the foreign student community and a member of the foreign Education Committee, I understand how important it is to celebrate our variety. I’ll try to develop initiatives that unite students, promote intercultural understanding, and guarantee that all CSUF students, both domestic and foreign, have a feeling of community. 4. Promoting Innovation in Technology With my experience in data analysis, software development, and artificial intelligence, I hope to contribute a tech-driven viewpoint to the board. In order to enhance campus services, I will push for updating campus technology, increasing possibilities for experiential learning, and implementing creative solutions. Together, let’s strengthen the Titan community! By working together, we can build a campus that puts the needs of its students first, values diversity, and sets us up for success in the future. I’m prepared to pay attention, work with you, and act on your behalf. Together, let’s improve CSUF even further.
