Hello Titans! I’m Ezequiel Sanchez, a third-year Business Administration student
with an intended concentration in Accounting and a Minor in Finance. As a
dedicated and driven business student, I am passionate about creating
opportunities, fostering leadership, and ensuring student success. That’s why I am
honored to run for the ASI Board of Directors, representing the College of Business
and Economics.
Throughout my time at CSUF, I have been actively involved in Accounting Society
and LBSA, where I’ve strengthened my leadership and collaboration skills. I
currently serve on the CBE Business Student Advisory Board, working to bridge the
gap between students and administration—developing initiatives for student
success, improving services, and addressing key concerns.
Beyond academics, I enjoy hiking, baking, and cooking, which have helped me
connect with peers and gain new perspectives. As someone who has balanced
academics with a part-time job, I understand the challenges many students face.
These experiences have taught me perseverance, adaptability, and the importance
of amplifying student voices.
I am running because I am committed to building a stronger, more connected, and
opportunity-driven environment for students at CSUF.
Empowering Business Students with Opportunities, Connections, and Leadership
As business students, we are part of one of the largest and most dynamic colleges
at CSUF. We have the talent, drive, and ambition to succeed, but we need greater
access to opportunities, stronger collaboration within our community, and
leadership that listens and takes action. If elected to the ASI Board of Directors for
the College of Business and Economics, I am committed to expanding careerfocused
initiatives, strengthening our student network, and advocating for
transparent and proactive leadership to ensure every business student has the
resources and support they need to thrive.
Expanding Career-Focused Initiatives & Internship Preparation
Preparing for internships and careers is a top priority, yet many students struggle
to find relevant opportunities. I will increase internship pipelines by building
stronger partnerships with businesses and alumni and expanding hands-on
experiences. I will advocate for resume workshops, interview coaching, and
industry-specific networking events to prepare students for professional success.
Strengthening corporate partnerships will bring more guest speakers, workshops,
and recruitment opportunities to CSUF. I will also push for more companysponsored
case competitions and hackathons, allowing students to apply their
skills to real-world challenges.
Strengthening the Business Student Community & Network
With one of the largest student populations at CSUF, CBE students should be
leveraging our network to build lasting connections. I will foster a more engaged
student body through mentorship programs and networking mixers. Encouraging
stronger alumni involvement that will expand mentorship opportunities, job
connections, and career guidance. I will also advocate for a supportive environment
for transfer and first-year students to ensure they integrate seamlessly into the
business community.
Enhancing Collaboration & Commitment with BICC and Business Clubs
The Business Inter-Club Council (BICC) and business organizations play a crucial
role in professional development. I will strengthen collaboration between BICC, ASI,
and business clubs to enhance student engagement and leadership opportunities. I
will push for increased funding and resources for student-led business initiatives
and networking events. Ensuring that clubs have greater access to campus spaces,
promotional support, and administrative assistance for hosting impactful events
will also be a priority.
Transparent Leadership & Proactive Advocacy
Leadership should be accessible, transparent, and action-oriented. I will advocate
for clearer communication between ASI, administration, and students to ensure
concerns are heard and addressed. I will work toward more transparency in ASI
funding and decision-making, ensuring resources directly benefit students.
Implementing a proactive feedback system will allow students to voice concerns,
share ideas, and see real action taken.
Why Vote for Me?
I believe in creating more opportunities, building stronger connections, and
ensuring leadership that listens and takes action. Together, we can make CSUF a
powerhouse of success, innovation, and opportunity.
