01 May ASI Supports Student Wellness with Finals Week Yoga, Free Snacks and Late Night Study
- The ASI finals resources include “Rest for the Revolution,” “Late Night Study” and “Snack & Go: Finals Edition”, taking place on May 6 and 7.
- The events are hosted by student government, ASI programming and the Pantry.
As finals week nears, Cal State Fullerton’s Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) is rolling out three supportive events to help students recharge, refocus, and relieve stress. On May 6, students can take advantage of the “Rest for the Revolution” and “Late Night Study” events, followed by “Snack & Go: Finals Edition” event on May 7. Students can sign up for “Rest for the Revolution” on the CampusLabs website, while “Snack and Go” and “Late Night Study” require no sign-ups beforehand.
Rest for the Revolution will take place from noon to 1 p.m. at the Student Recreation Center (SRC) pool deck, where students can reset with a free guided yoga session, with mats, instruction and wellness goodie bags handed out at the end.
“We want students to know it’s okay to take a break,” Andrea Ramirez Rivera, ASI Chief Inclusion and Diversity officer said. “Even a short yoga session can help reduce stress and make a big difference during a high-stress time like finals.”

On the same day, students can attend a 2000’s themed Late Night Study from 6 to 9 p.m. at the lower level of the Titan Student Union (TSU). The sleepover-inspired event includes a movie, 2000’s themed activities like loom bracelets, a study area and snacks.
“With this event, I hope students know that ASI is a place where students can build their education, their participation on campus and become a well-rounded individual,” said Mikayla Rodriguez, ASI student programmer.

On May 7 from noon to 1:30 p.m., ASI’s food pantry will host “Snack & Go: Finals Edition” at the Becker Amphitheater, offering free snacks and drinks to help students stay focused and energized amidst finals week.
“It’s not always easy for students to find time to eat or grab something in between exams and studying,” said Cristina Truong, Associate Director of the TSU. “Providing something as simple as a snack shows students that ASI is here for them especially during the stress of finals.”

These resources demonstrate ASI’s ongoing commitment to supporting students’ physical, social, and mental well-being, aligning with the launch of the Student Wellness Initiative in Fall 2025.
