
30 Sep Titan Cup Launches Marvel Rivals Tournament at CSUF with Meet and Greet Featuring Daniel Marin, Voice of Namor
Cal State Fullerton students will have the chance to showcase their gaming skills in Associated Students Inc.’s Titan Cup: Marvel Rivals, an Esports tournament, with registration open from Sept. 26 through Oct. 17. Students can register and receive updates by joining the Official Titan Esport Discord. The competition will feature 6v6 team battles in Marvel Rivals, a fast-paced arena game highlighting an iconic lineup of Marvel superheroes and villains. The event will feature prizes, live gameplay, and a celebration of student talent in digital arenas.

The tournament kicks off with an online qualifier on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 11 a.m. The top-performing teams will then move on to the in-person finals on Friday, Oct. 24 at 4 p.m. at the TSU, where the campus gaming community will rally around the final showdown.
Students will also be able to attend a special meet and greet with Daniel Marin, the voice actor of Marvel Rival’s Namor, in the Esports Lounge at the TSU a 1 p.m. before the official tournament begins.

Whether you are a seasoned player or new to Esports, this event offers a chance to network and collaborate” said Aaron Chai, TBB & Esports Coordinator. “That spirit of connection continues with Daniel Marin, who brings our favorite hero to life. This meet-and-greet is a unique chance to engage with the talent that makes the gaming world so appealing.”
