As costs continue to rise, Associated Students Inc. is expanding scholarship opportunities to help ease the financial burden on Cal State Fullerton students. This fall, students can apply for 210 scholarships for the Spring 2027 semester, including two new awards funded through the ASI Student Wellness Initiative (ASWI). 

Students can apply for scholarships as outlined in the eligibility criteria on the scholarship web page. Applications are open through Sept. 4, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. To view ASI scholarships, search “Associated Students Inc.” using the website’s search function.

The new ASWI Transportation Assistance Scholarship and Pathway to Success Scholarship have been introduced to help support students’ academic success and transportation costs.  

“The ASWI is already creating meaningful opportunities for students. In fall 2025, the initiative contributed $105,000 in additional scholarship funding, enabling ASI to award 130 students,” said ASI Vice President Sydney Yee. “This was a huge achievement for ASI, being the highest number of ASI scholarships awarded in a single year. As the ASWI continues to roll out, its fee structure grows each year, meaning ASI’s capacity to fund scholarships and student resources will continue to expand.” 

Students now have access to more scholarship opportunities than ever before, with individual scholarship amounts ranging from $400 to $1,500.

Students can apply for the following scholarships this fall: 

  • Adult Re-Entry Scholarship: for adult re-entry students with outstanding campus and community involvement.  
  • Formerly Incarcerated Students Scholarship: for formerly incarcerated students dedicated to academic success and perseverance in overcoming barriers  
  • Graduate Student Scholarship: for graduate students with campus and/or community involvement, scholastic and/or personal achievement or prospective graduate goals. 
  • Pathway to Success Scholarship: for undergraduate, graduate or credential students who demonstrate the impact of personal experiences on their journey at CSUF.  
  • Student-Parent Scholarship: for student-parents who demonstrate dedication and perseverance while balancing academic studies and parental responsibilities. 
  •  ASWI Transportation Assistance Scholarship: for CSUF students to support their financial well-being and commuting costs. 

Recipients of each scholarship can expect their awards to take effect during the spring 2027 semester. 

“Pointing back to ASI’s values, our scholarships are open to all majors and fields of study and reflect our commitment to supporting student empowerment, inclusivity and support within our community,” said Yee.
